Adrienne Cathrine Haan was born in Essen, Germany on April 7, 1978. Already in Kindergarden it became clear that she would find her profession in the entertainment field. After maturing in A-levels in 1997 she moved to New York City where she graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts with a degree in Acting and Musical Theatre Performance, winning the annual award given by the board of trustees in Song Interpretation. While attending the Academy, she was trained in the Stanislavski System and taught by some of the best actors in the field, such world-renowned actors as Victor Garber ("Titanic"), Paul Rudd ("Clueless") and Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey ("American Beauty").


She went on to take classes and attend workshops at the Juilliard School in Manhattan in Song Interpretation for Musical Theatre.

Adrienne was later cast in several US- and European National Tours and off-Broadway productions. She portrayed Belle in Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol, Kate Lucas in TEXAS, Fantine in Les Misérables, Grizabella in Cats, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Eva Peron in Lloydd Webber's Musical Evita, Veronica in the New Jersey production of The Passion Play, Anna Christie in Eugene O'Neills Drama Anna Christie. She also played Queen Margaret in Shakespeare's King Henry III, Queen Elisabeth in King Richard III at the Producer's Club in NY, as well as many other comedic and dramatic roles.


After her return to Germany, Adrienne has lived in Bonn and has worked for the West Deutsche Rundfunk, taking part in different music, TV and radio productions.


She has also worked very closely with the Publishing Company Das Beste and her CD I Could Have Danced All Night in collaboration with the WDR Rundfunkorchester was released in November 2007. He latest CD I am a Vamp (Songs from the 20s and 30s) which is currently being produced with the WDR Big Band will be released in July 2010. Her first CD To Entertain was released in June 2003.

In the meantime, Adrienne has established herself as quite a successful Solo Performer. She was able to convince the New York audience as such, performing her two solo shows From Berlin to Broadway, The Streets of Berlin as well as her duo show Narcissa&Goldmund in collaboration with Micaela Leon in some of New York's most established venues.
